Mira Plante

My name is Saranya “Mira” Plante and I graduated from Masconomet Regional High School in 2020. Now, I am a freshman at WPI majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Security and a minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. I enjoy working on real-world problems with peers to create lasting environmental change in the world. For my Girl Scout Gold Award, I worked with my community to bring awareness to our litter issue through educational programs, policy adjustment ideas, and planned litter clean-ups. With help from the Middleton Stream Team Environmental Award, I will gain the skills and knowledge I need to find a balance between human comfort and environmental health. Through my work, I want to inspire more young girls to create change in the world through STEM
